Rangers Daily Farm Roundup: 8/12/18

A lot of losses in the Rangers system on Sunday. Round Rock took home the lone W in a seven inning game. Rehabbing Nomar Mazara went 4/6 between the two games with the Express. Hanser Alberto, Michael O’Neill, and Andretty Cordero homered today. Jason Bahr continues to impress since joining the Rangers organization.


Triple-A

Omaha 4, Round Rock Express 3 (Completion of Suspended Game from Saturday)

Omaha took the first game of the day when they broke a 3-3 tie in the top of the ninth on a throwing error. The Express were only able to push across three runs despite 12 hits in the game.

The lone win in the Rangers system today, Round Rock jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first on four straight singles.

After starting out August 5-0, the Riders have lost three in a row and five of their last six. It was a rough road trip with an ugly end, but the club returns to Frisco on Tuesday.

It was a great start from recently acquired Jason Bahr, it was just a slightly better one from Lynchburg starter Kirk McCarty who frustrated Wood Duck hitters all day.
